Sam Bain
Sam founded Bainco International Investors in 1987 and currently serves as CEO and Managing Partner. In addition, he serves on the board of several of Bainco’s private equity investment partnerships. Prior to founding Bainco, Sam was a Senior Vice President at Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette, serving high net-worth individuals and institutions, and spent several years as a Chairman’s Club wealth Advisor at Merrill Lynch. He is a member of the Board of Overseers for Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, a Trustee of the University of Vermont and serves on boards of several other foundations. Sam earned a BS in mathematics from the University of Vermont and a master's degree in systems design and management from George Washington University.

Chas Wood
Chas has 40 years of experience in business management and private investment. A director for many years of Boston Private Financial Holdings, Inc. and of its bank subsidiary, Boston Private Bank and Trust Company, Chas served as chair of both boards from December 1991 until his resignation as chair of the bank board in December 1998 and of the holding company in February 1999. Currently a director of JLG Industries, Inc., he is also an investor in and director of many early stage businesses. Early in his career he was associated with a family business, T.B. Wood's Sons Company, and for 15 years was its CEO and board chairman. A graduate of Yale University, Chas is also active in philanthropic affairs.

Kevin Johnson, OutSmart CEO
Kevin is currently serving as OutSmart’s CEO. He started Manifold Products in late 2002 and serves as that company's CEO as well. At Manifold, Kevin has been an integral part of developing several technologies and spinning off two independent companies, Emo Labs and Newton Peripherals. Before co-founding Manifold, he was Director of Engineering for Design Continuum, where he was responsible for building and leading a group of 24 creative engineers. He was a key member of Continuum's Operating Committee, responsible for corporate strategy, policy and finance. Kevin has extensive experience in client and project management, and specific expertise in mechanisms and gearing. Prior to Continuum, Kevin spent 7 years at Eastman Kodak Company, where he led a group in the development of high resolution, digital color printers. He earned a BS in mechanical engineering from Tufts University (summa cum laude). Kevin holds 34 U.S. patents with 3 pending.
